Kentucky Bluegrass

I’ve been to Lexington Kentucky twice now. Both times were for the Kentucky Foreign Language Conference (KFLC) at the University of Kentucky (UK). Lexington is a nice place and the UK’s campus is very pleasant in the springtime. My presentation at the KFLC went well and there was a lot of interest shown by others from various universities and colleges. While I was there I took the chance to see a few of the local sights. The main one was, Ashland, the estate of Henry Clay. Ashland is a charming old place and was well worth the long walk to see it. I’ve attached a few pictures to give you an idea what it was like (sorry I don’t have any interior shots… it is not allowed).
